I loved the excellent access to Worthington Lakes, perfect for leisurely walks, and the nearby Church of St Wilfrid, a beautiful spot to enjoy some quiet time after a day of exploring the city. The staff were also very friendly.

We had a lovely stay in a spacious Double Room with a big, clean bathroom and the staff were so friendly, even chasing us down to return my son's forgotten swim shorts! The pool and sauna were fantastic for some quality relaxation time. Just a tiny thing, there could be a bit more tea and biscuits in the room for two! 😊

Remote location of this family-run hotel was a bonus. Also, the area was entertainment. We ate in the fabulous restaurant for dinner which was fairly priced. Its cosy decor with a scenic view on to the gardens was a nice surprise.
